No. 19 LSU, led by the unstoppable Jayden Daniels, outgunned Florida in a high-scoring battle that ended 52-35. Daniels, in a historic performance, etched his name in the annals of college football history as the first quarterback in FBS history to amass over 350 passing yards and 200 rushing yards in a single game. With a staggering total of 606 yards and five touchdowns under his belt, Daniels showcased why he’s a leading contender for the prestigious Heisman Trophy.

Throughout the game, Daniels demonstrated his dual-threat abilities, completing 17 of 26 passes for 372 yards and three touchdowns while racking up 234 rushing yards and two more touchdowns on the ground. Florida briefly took the lead in the third quarter, but Daniels responded with an explosive 51-yard rushing touchdown, followed by a 38-yard touchdown pass to Noah Cain, regaining control for LSU at 38-28.

Daniels’ spectacular night culminated with a 37-yard touchdown connection to Brian Thomas, sealing the Tigers’ fifth consecutive victory in their storied rivalry with Florida. As they celebrate this remarkable win, LSU now sets its sights on a matchup with Georgia State next Saturday.

Jayden Daniels‘ exceptional performance against Florida not only solidified his Heisman candidacy but also left a lasting impression on college football fans, further enhancing LSU’s standing in the NCAA landscape.
