In a recent development regarding New Orleans Saints‘ cornerback Marshon Lattimore‘s injury, there appears to be a positive outlook for the star player. Head coach Dennis Allen has provided an update, indicating that Lattimore’s knee injury does not involve any structural damage.
According to ESPN’s Katherine Terrell, the concern lies primarily with swelling, a condition being addressed through medication. While Lattimore participated in limited individual drills during Wednesday’s practice, his involvement signals a step towards recovery. Barring any unforeseen setbacks, the Saints’ standout corner seems on track to take the field in Week 1 against the Titans.
Dennis Allen said there’s nothing structurally wrong with Lattimore’s knee. It does sound like there might be swelling or a slight issue because he said they’re treating it with medication and something he’s going to battle for a bit.

Having garnered attention for his impressive skills on the field, Marshon Lattimore‘s recent injury news brings a sigh of relief to Saints’ fans. Lattimore, a consistent Pro Bowl performer from 2019 to 2021, faced adversity last season with a lacerated kidney and two broken ribs that limited his appearances to just seven games.
