Chicago Bears (2-2) linebacker Noah Sewell is out for the remainder of Monday’s Week 6 road contest against the Washington Commanders (3-2). Sewell, who left the game in the second quarter, was diagnosed with a concussion.
Sewell was on the receiving end of friendly fire from Bears defensive tackle Jonathan Ford . Sewell was one of multiple Bears defenders attempting to wrap up Commanders running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt when Ford flew into the pile to help. Ford got more of Sewell, his arm driving directly into Sewell’s helmet.
