BOSTON — Baltimore Orioles starter Trevor Rogers bookended a historic run on the mound with yet another strong performance on Monday night against the Boston Red Sox. Rogers lowered his ERA to 1.41 on the season by scattering four hits and allowing just one run over 7.0 innings as the Orioles handed Boston a 6-3 defeat, marking the seventh home loss in the last 11 games for the Red Sox inside Fenway Park. The 27-year-old Rogers got his first start of the season on May 24 after starting the year on the injured list with a right knee subluxation. That first start came in Boston and he shut out the Red Sox on two hits over 6.2 innings.
