OT Aaron Thomas decommits from Ohio State; top ACC team a likely landing spot

It’s not often the Ohio State Buckeyes lose a recruit, but crazier things have happened on the recruiting trail. This one also makes sense when you look at the grand scheme of things, though. On Monday, it was announced that Aaron Thomas, a three-star offensive tackle from Phoenix, Arizona, had decommitted from the Buckeyes. He had been committed to OSU since June of 2025, but his father, Eric Thomas, played at Florida State from 1995 to 1999. Hunter Shelton of Rivals is also reporting that the Seminoles have been working hard on a flip. They offered Thomas in April of 2025.
