Micah Parsons’ contract standoff with the Dallas Cowboys — and his trade request — remains unresolved with just over a week until the 2025 NFL season kicks off. Among the teams closely monitoring the situation is Green Bay, where Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst is keeping a watchful eye.
The Packers are widely viewed as one of the most intriguing potential landing spots for Parsons, and many around the league believe they could make a serious push if the star defender becomes available. Speaking on Wednesday, Gutekunst addressed the matter carefully, leaving the door open for a possible move.
“Any opportunity that’s out there that we think could help the Packers, we’ll take a long hard look at,” Gutekunst stated, via Matt Schneidman of The Athletic . While he didn’t directly name Parsons, it’s not hard to use context clues.
