Green Bay Packers pass rusher Micah Parsons is believed to have suffered a torn ACL during Sunday’s loss to the Denver Broncos, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
Parsons suffered a non-contact knee injury in the third quarter when he was streaking in on a blitz and tried to contain quarterback Bo Nix. Parsons then took an awkward step, immediately grabbed at his knee and went down. He was helped to the locker room with his arm around a trainer.
Green Bay was leading, 23-21, at the time of Parsons’ departure, though Denver was driving and scored a touchdown to go up 27-23 shortly after.
The four-time Pro Bowler had two tackles, a pass deflection and the forced fumble before getting hurt. He’s helped transform the Packers defense this season with 12.5 sacks heading into Sunday’s contest.
