Pat McAfee reports President Donald Trump will attend NFL game this weekend

President Donald Trump has weekend plans. He will be in attendance for Sunday’s NFL game between the Washington Commanders and the Detroit Lions, Pat McAfee reported on Friday.

“Sources are telling me that President Donald Trump will be in attendance for this Washington Commanders game in the afternoon against the Detroit Lions,” McAfee said on Friday’s edition of ‘ The Pat McAfee Show .’ “He will actually be there to celebrate the Veterans’ Celebration that is taking place at halftime. He’ll be sitting in owner Josh Harris ‘ box and he’ll be excited to celebrate the hell out of the greatest sport on earth, American football.”

Trump, who is currently in the midst of his second tenure as President, has attended the Super Bowl, the Daytona 500, the US Open, the FIFA Club World Cup Final and the Ryder Cup in recent years. As the government shutdown continues, the 45th & 47th President of the United States will add Northwest Stadium to his fan card on Sunday.

“We are honored to welcome President Trump to the game as we celebrate those who have served and continue to serve our country,” Commanders Team President Mark Clouse said in a statement. “The entire Commanders organization is proud to participate in the NFL’s league-wide Salute to Service initiative, recognizing the dedication and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans, active-duty service members, and their families this Sunday.”

Trump criticized the NFL for selecting Bad Bunny as Super Bowl Halftime performer

Regarding the Super Bowl, Trump has been outwardly critical of the NFL’s decision to select three-time Grammy Award Winner Bad Bunny as the Halftime Show performer at Super Bowl LX in February.
