Patrick Mahomes reveals when he found out Taylor Swift would be on Travis Kelce's podcast

Patrick Mahomes said Wednesday he found out that Taylor Swift was appearing on the “New Heights” podcast with boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce after the episode had already been recorded. Mahomes, however, didn’t get a direct heads-up.

Rather, Swift and Kelce called Mahomes’ wife Brittany : “Nah, it surprised me too,” Mahomes said, via Marleah Campbell of KCTV5. “I knew before y’all did just because they called me after the podcast was done — didn’t call me, they called Brittany — I was in the back of the FaceTime.”

Swift might just be the most popular musical artist in the world. But perhaps surprisingly, this will be her first ever appearance on the New Heights podcast. There’s a lot of excitement surrounding Swift’s appearance, which will release to the masses Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET on YouTube.

Taylor Swift might break the internet with ‘New Heights’ podcast appearance

For Taylor Swift, her appearance on New Heights coincides with the announcement of her next album. The show itself seemed to break that news. In the lead-up to the episodes’ release, New Heights posted a clip. In it, Taylor Swift’s album “The Life of a Showgirl” is promoted. Notably, however, in that clip, the cover art for the album was blurred. This will be her first album since “The Tortured Poets Department,” which was nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammys.
