Patriots, Seahawks land in San Jose ahead of Super Bowl LX

A pair of touchdowns have taken place a week out from Super Bowl LX.

The New England Patriots landed at San José Mineta International Airport on Sunday at 3:51 p.m. ET, back in the big game for the first time in their post-Tom Brady era. The Seattle Seahawks followed a short time later, arriving at 5:25 p.m. ET ahead of a whirlwind week leading up to a Super Bowl rematch 11 years in the making.

The last time these two clubs faced off with a Lombardi Trophy on the line to conclude the 2014 season, the Patriots emerged victorious on Malcolm Butler’s iconic goal-line interception, but that was long ago. Both clubs have transformed multiple times since. New England now hopes to lay the foundation for a brand new dynasty with second-year quarterback Drake Maye, and Seattle has traded in the “Legion of Boom” moniker for the “Dark Side” defense.

Should the journeys traveled over the past decade and change produce a different result this time around, it will mean a second Super Bowl triumph for the Seahawks franchise. Otherwise, a new generation of Pats will take home a record seventh Lombardi Trophy to New England.
