In a promising development for the New Orleans Pelicans, star guard CJ McCollum and forward Larry Nance Jr. are edging closer to their return to game action after battling injuries. Head coach Willie Green confirmed that both players were full participants in a recent practice, providing a glimmer of hope for Pelicans fans.
McCollum, who suffered a collapsed lung and a fractured rib, expressed optimism about his recovery, stating that he is eagerly awaiting medical clearance from his pulmonologist. His imminent return would undoubtedly bolster the Pelicans’ offensive firepower and playmaking abilities.
Remarkably, even in the absence of McCollum and Nance, the Pelicans have found their stride recently, securing three wins in their last four games. Their impressive 36-point victory over Sacramento showcased their newfound cohesion and teamwork.
According to star forward Zion Williamson, a crucial team meeting helped align the players’ goals and mindset, leading to improved chemistry on the court. As the Pelicans eagerly anticipate the return of McCollum and Nance, their recent success and unity suggest that they are well-positioned to make a significant impact in the competitive Western Conference.
