NBA insider Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report has reported that the New Orleans Pelicans are showing interest in forward Tobias Harris. Harris, 32, is an unrestricted free agent who made over $39 million last season with the Philadelphia 76ers. In the 2023-24 season, Harris appeared in 70 games, averaging 17.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game.

His shooting percentages were impressive, with 48.7% from the field, 35.3% from three-point range, and 87.8% from the free-throw line. The 19th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft from the University of Tennessee, Harris brings a wealth of experience and versatility to the table.
With Brandon Ingram involved in trade discussions, the Pelicans are looking to strengthen their wing positions, which currently include Trey Murphy III and Matt Ryan, as Naji Marshall is set to test free agency. Harris’s potential addition to the Pelicans roster could provide the team with a reliable scoring option and veteran leadership. Stay Tuned…
