NEW ORLEANS — In a thrilling Thursday night matchup, the New Orleans Pelicans clinched a hard-fought victory against the Milwaukee Bucks with a final score of 107-100. Zion Williamson led the charge with an impressive 28-point performance, closely followed by CJ McCollum‘s 25-point contribution, showcasing the dynamic duo’s pivotal roles in the Pelicans’ triumph. Despite struggling from beyond the arc with a mere 8 for 32 on 3-pointers and an overall shooting percentage of 39.6%, the Pelicans’ resilience shone through.

Jonas Valanciunas notched his 32nd double-double of the season with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Trey Murphy III added a double-double of his own, underscoring the team’s collective effort. On the Bucks’ side, Giannis Antetokounmpo dominated with 35 points and 14 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to secure a win, especially following their recent overtime loss to the Lakers. The Pelicans, rebounding from a narrow defeat to Oklahoma City, showcased their determination and ability to close out games under pressure, setting the stage for an electrifying season continuation.
