Following a dismal start to the 2025-26 season, New Orleans Pelicans rookie center Derik Queen has given his team a glimmer of hope. The No. 13 overall pick of the 2025 NBA Draft, who the Pelicans traded an unprotected 2026 first-rounder to select, has made the most out of increased opportunities the past two games — both wins — forcing himself into a larger role as the season progresses.
