The New Orleans Pelicans have officially signed guard Izaiah Brockington. Standing at 6-4 and weighing 200 pounds, Brockington previously showcased his skills with the Pelicans’ G League affiliate, the Birmingham Squadron, in two games last season.
During his impressive senior year at Iowa State University in the 2021-22 season, he secured All-Big 12 First Team honors with averages of 16.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
Brockington’s collegiate journey spans 125 games across St. Bonaventure, Penn State, and Iowa State, boasting an average of 10.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. In light of this new addition, the Pelicans have made the decision to waive Landers Nolley II.
