Peyton Manning had an interesting reaction to Jauan Jennings punching Tre’Von Moehrig after the Monday Night Football game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Carolina Panthers. On the ManningCast , Manning was excited to see some post-game drama.
“I’d probably rather that happened than a jersey swap,” Peyton Manning said. “Wouldn’t you if you’re on the Panthers side? A little fire.”
Jauan Jennings punched Tre’Von Moehrig because Moehrig punched Jennings in the groin towards the end of the game. Moehrig may have been frustrated since the Panthers lost to the 49ers 20-9. The Panthers fell to 6-6 on the year, while the 49ers improved to 8-4.
Jennings had a solid night, catching five passes for 41 yards and one touchdown. Entering the Panthers game, the 28-year-old has recorded 32 receptions for 378 yards and three touchdowns.
The 49ers selected Jennings in the seventh round of the 2020 draft. In 2024, the former Tennesseestar had his best season, catching 77 passes for 975 yards and six touchdowns.
