Quinshon Judkins injury update: Browns RB had 'successful' surgery on fibula and ankle

The Cleveland Browns shared an update on running back Quinshon Judkins , who suffered multiple injuries in Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. The team announced that Judkins had “successful” surgery on his fractured fibula and dislocated ankle on Tuesday. He has been placed on injured reserve and will miss the rest of the season.

Quinshon Judkins suffered the injuries in the second quarter when he was tackled after catching a screen pass. His lower right leg was twisted in the wrong direction, and he left the field on a cart.

“Obviously, very disappointed for the young man, he will bounce back,” Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said after the game.“I have zero doubt about that with him. But you never want to see that with any of your guys. He’ll be back in no time, I know that.”

Judkins finished the game with 22 rushing yards on eight carries, and he also caught five passes for 29 yards. He finished the 2025 season with 827 rushing yards on 230 carries and seven touchdowns.
