Los Angeles Rams linebacker Jared Verse made himself an enemy of Philadelphia Eagles fans during the playoffs last season, but the latest comments he made might help ease some of the tension. Prior to the divisional round of the playoffs last season, Verse made headlines for saying he hates Eagles fans. While he has not explicitly taken any of that back, the reigning NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year had much more flattering things to say about Philadelphia’s fan base during a recent interview with Whistle. Verse was asked which opposing fan base he thinks is the best, and he gave credit to Eagles fans. “Probably the Eagles,” Verse said, via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk. “I’ve got to give them that.
