The Blueshirts ensured some organizational depth between the pipes next season. On Sunday, New York Rangers general manager Chris Drury announced that the team has signed goaltenders Dylan Garand and Talyn Boyko to one-year, two-way contracts. Garand’s contract holds an NHL cap hit of $775,000, a minor-league salary of $100,000 and a guaranteed salary of $125,000 for the 2025-26 season. The terms of Boyko’s deal have yet to be announced. Both backstops spent time in the American Hockey League with the Rangers’ primary affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack – Garand more so than Boyko.
