Lamar Jackson‘s playing status is still up in the air following Friday’s injury report.
Jackson drew a questionable designation for the Ravens’ game Sunday against the visiting Chicago Bears as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury. Tyler Huntley will get the start over Cooper Rush if Jackson is forced to miss his third straight game, coach John Harbaugh said.
After returning to practice as a limited participant earlier this week, Jackson was upgraded to full work on Friday.
Jackson hasn’t played since a Sept. 28 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Baltimore has lost four straight heading into Sunday with Jackson playing in two of those defeats.

Since taking over as the franchise’s full-fledged starter in 2019, Jackson has seen the Ravens go 5-12 without him in the starting lineup.
Jackson has played four games so far this season, going 1-3 with 869 passing yards (68 of 95), 10 passing touchdowns and one interception. He’s also rushed for 166 yards on 21 attempts with a touchdown.
Rush has started for the Ravens in the last two games. He’s struggled to the tune of 34-for-52 passing for 303 yards, no touchdowns and four picks in four overall appearances. He was replaced by Huntley in the team’s Week 6 defeat against the Los Angeles Rams. Though Huntley was signed by the Ravens this summer after he was released by the Cleveland Browns, backing up Jackson is old hat for him.
Huntley has a 5-9 record as a starter in his career. Five of those starts came with the Miami Dolphins in 2024, while the rest came previously as Jackson’s understudy with Baltimore. Huntley was 3-6 as a starter from 2021-23.
Jackson’s injury and availability has been somewhat of a mystery over the past month and it will continue to be, perhaps up until kickoff Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
