The #Chiefs are trading with the #Jets to bring back DT Derrick Nnadi, per sources,”Fowler wrote on Twitter/X. “Deal includes a 2027 conditional 6th/7th pick flop.”

A former third round pick out of Florida State by the Chiefs (2018), Nnadi spent his entire career with Kansas City until this summer. He signed with the Jets back in March but will now head back to a familiar place.

Nnadi has five career sacks, to go along with 233 total tackles in seven seasons with the Chiefs. Despite starting every game in 2022 and ’23, en route to his second and third Super Bowl titles, Nnadi starting just one last year while appearing in all 17. But, he was limited ot just 11 tackles last season.
