An active shooting situation has taken place at 345 Park Ave in Manhattan, the headquarters of the NFL, according to reports. One police officer and one civilian have reportedly been shot. Local law enforcement are on the scene.
According to NFL insider Jeff Darlington, he’s told that NFL employees at 345 Park Ave “have been told to shelter in place after reports of gunfire nearby.” He revealed that employees were sent the following message: “Do not exit the building. Secure your location and hide until law enforcement clears your floor. Please switch phones to silent.”
NFL insider Ari Meirov was on the scene in Manhattan as police responded to the incident. She posted the following video outside of the building:
The New York Police Department is responding to an active shooter situation at 345 Park Ave, a building that includes the NFL league office.

The shooter “killed himself,” according to ABC News. Their police sources state that he committed suicide after fleeing into the building. He died on the 33rd floor, where he was presumedly found by law enforcement.
A police officer and civilian were injured by gunfire during the incident. Their immediate conditions are unknown.
