The New Orleans Saints have made notable roster moves as announced by Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis. The team has re-signed guard Koda Martin, who initially joined the Saints on a reserve/future contract on January 11 and has been part of the club throughout the 2023 offseason. Standing tall at 6-6 and weighing 304 pounds, Martin’s experience with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2019 adds valuable depth to the Saints’ offensive line.
On the other hand, defensive end Jabari Zuniga has been placed on Reserve/Retired by the team. The 25-year-old player, drafted in the third round from the University of Florida by the New York Jets in 2020, has decided to retire at a young age, ending his professional football career.
In summary, the Saints have reinforced their offensive line by re-signing guard Koda Martin, while they bid farewell to defensive end Jabari Zuniga, who has chosen to retire.
