Rotterdam synagogue blast had terrorist intent, prosecutors say

AMSTERDAM, March 16 (Reuters) – Dutch prosecutors on ​Monday said the ‌four men suspected of causing ​an explosion ​at a synagogue in Rotterdam ⁠on Friday ​had acted ​with terrorist intent.

“The acts were meant to ​instill fear ​in the Jewish community,” ‌the ⁠prosecutors said.

The four, aged 17 to 19, ​were ​apprehended ⁠shortly after an arson ​attack caused ​a ⁠fire at the synagogue early ⁠on ​Friday.
