Ryan Garcia’s drug test B-sample results are expected to be released soon, possibly taking until early next week. Garcia’s B-samples were opened today following his positive test for ostarine on the day before and the day of his fight against Devin Haney, as reported by Dan Raphael of ESPN. While the presence of ostarine has raised concerns, Garcia has been cleared of a potential positive drug test for the 19-Norandrosterone metabolite, a derivative of the banned substance nandrolone. Initial tests indicated a positive result for this metabolite, but further analysis using Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (IRMS) has confirmed these results to be negative.
Haney's have zero to do with his B sample being tested at all. In fact, it was Haney's call to have it tested. https://t.co/uCzbWbLlF9

Garcia has vehemently denied knowingly using any performance-enhancing drugs and has responded publicly via tweets. The confirmation of the negative result for the nandrolone metabolite provides some relief for Garcia, but the upcoming B-sample results for ostarine remain crucial for his career. The boxing community and fans alike are awaiting these results with great interest, as they will determine the next steps in this ongoing situation.
