Saints & DE Cam Jordan Agree On Three Year Extension

New Orleans, LA– The New Orleans Saints & Defensive End Cameron Jordan have agreed on an three year extension that will make him a Saint for life. Jordan a former 1st round draft pick out of the University of California back in 2011, inked the deal today according several media sources. The three year extension is worth $52.5 million with a maximum of 55.5 million that includes $42 million in guarantees.

The energetic & enthusiastic defensive end has played in a total of 128 games with 410 total tackles amassing an amazing 71.5 sacks with New Orleans. According various reports the deal was motivated by Jordan who wanted quote “financial security” he most certainly accomplished that. Jordan who turns 30 in July has played in four Pro Bowls is considered the heart and soul of the saints defense.

With the three year extension added to the two years remaining on Jordan’s contract the total deal is worth $74 million and keeps him a Saint thru the year 2023.
