New Orleans Saints rookie Tyler Shough took an important step toward becoming the team’s starting quarterback this season after ending a contract stalemate three days before the start of training camp. Per reports, Shough, the No. 40 overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, received a fully guaranteed deal worth $10.795 million. “Shough is the last player selected in the 2025 draft to secure a fully-guaranteed deal,” ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter wrote. “The contract also includes annual Roster Bonus structure, which no other non-first round pick has.
