Saints’ final injury designations
The Saints’ official October 3 report lists these five players with game-status designations:
| Player | Position | Injury | Game status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kaden Elliss | Linebacker | Calf | Out |
| Carl Granderson | Edge | Ankle | Out |
| Anfernee Jennings | Edge | Knee | Out |
| Pete Werner | Linebacker | Shoulder | Questionable |
| Noah Fant | Tight end | Abdomen | Questionable |
These are the October 3 final injury-report designations, not the game-day inactive list. Questionable does not mean ruled out.
Who steps up for New Orleans?
The Who Dat Daily’s assessment: replacing these snaps requires discipline across the front. Edge defenders must maintain outside leverage, linebackers need clear communication and the entire defense has to finish tackles.
The Saints cannot afford to let one missed assignment force the next defender into an impossible choice. Simplifying a responsibility can help a reserve play faster, but the execution still has to hold up when Atlanta changes formations or attacks a different gap.
Our Saints–Falcons preview examines the broader matchup. The recent roster-moves breakdown explains the additions of David Ojabo and Ulysses Bentley IV to the practice squad; those signings alone do not guarantee game-day availability.
