The New Orleans Saints have reportedly tried out several players today, including WR Russell Gage, DT Camron Peterson, OT Cameron Wire, LB Jordan Smith, and S Roderic Teamer. Russell Gage, a former LSU Tiger who has also played for the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, boasts a career total of 244 receptions, 2,491 yards, and 14 touchdowns. Drafted by the Falcons in the 6th round of the 2018 NFL Draft, Gage could be a valuable addition to the Saints’ receiving corps.

Camron Peterson, a 6-foot-5, 280-pound defensive tackle from Southern University, went undrafted in 2023 but has experience with the Baltimore Ravens. Wire, a 6-foot-6, 305-pound offensive lineman, played both guard and tackle positions during his collegiate career at LSU and Tulane. Jordan Smith, standing 6-foot-6 and weighing 255 pounds, was a fourth-round pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2021 NFL Draft after playing for UAB. Lastly, Roderic Teamer, a New Orleans native and former Tulane standout, has professional experience with the Chargers, with career stats including 103 total tackles, 1 interception, and 3 passes defended. Each of these players brings a unique set of skills and potential to the Saints’ roster.
