The Cleveland Browns’ 2025 preseason came to an end Saturday with a 19-17 win over the Los Angeles Rams. The Browns finished the preseason 3-0 and were 2-0 in games that quarterback Shedeur Sanders played in.
Sanders suited up for his second game of the preseason on Saturday, but this go-around didn’t go as quite as well as his first game. The Colorado alum completed just 3/6 passes for 14 yards. He was also sacked five times for a loss of 41 yards.
With the preseason slate coming to an end, the front office will now have to decide on roster-cuts. With the Browns currently boasting five quarterbacks ( Joe Flacco , Kenny Pickett , Dillon Gabriel , Tyler Huntley and Sanders), one of these arms could be in jeopardy of no longer being with the franchise.
Sanders was asked postgame if he feels like he belongs with the Browns heading into the season and his answer was simple.

“Obviously. I think overall as a player I’ve put in the work and everything I do I try to do it the best and that’s all I ask for,” Sanders said. “I feel like everybody feels like they should be on the team and if you ask anybody if they feel like they belong they belong in their own eyes. So I feel like I do, but I’m my own player. I think about myself in a high regard.”
Sanders played in two preseason games for Browns
Over the course of two preseason games, Sanders completed 17/29 passes for 152 yards and two touchdowns. He was however sacked seven times.
