Just as they’re supposed to, the Los Angeles Dodgers took advantage of the worst team in baseball on Tuesday night. Los Angeles’ potent lineup led the way as the Dodgers beat the Colorado Rockies, 9-7, in Denver. Both teams recorded 14 hits in the game, but the Dodgers were the ones to benefit from hitter-friendly Coors Field the most. Los Angeles enjoyed two home runs, including one by superstar Shohei Ohtani and overcame an up and down day on the mound. Los Angeles won the game due to its offensive explosion in the fourth inning. Trailing 2-0, the Dodgers scored six runs in that big frame, including a home run from Michael Conforto. Conforto connected on a three-run blast for only his fifth long ball of the season.
