Skyy Clark’s 30 points carry UCLA past Cal Poly

Skyy Clark scored a season-high 30 points and had his season best of six 3-pointers for the third time to help UCLA notch a 108-87 victory over Cal Poly on Friday night in nonconference play at Los Angeles. Tyler Bilodeau added 24 points and eight rebounds for the Bruins, who scored 65 second-half points to break open a close game. Donovan Dent had 16 points, matched his season best of 11 assists and grabbed a career-best five steals and Jamar Brown scored 14 points for UCLA (9-3), which won its second straight game. Trent Perry had 12 points and Eric Dailey Jr. registered 10 points, six rebounds and three steals for the Bruins, who shot 61.8% from the field in the second half to finish at 57.4% while topping 100 for the first time this season.
