(Summary) LSU receiver Kayshon Boutte was named to the Biletnikoff award watch list on Thursday.

The Tigers junior receiver and No. 7 returns to Baton Rouge as one of the elite pass catchers in all of college football. Boutte of course is one of the most explosive players in the country as the All-American receiver was on pace for a tremendous season before an ankle injury cut his year short after six games.

In just six games during the 2021 season, he caught nine touchdowns on 38 receptions and expressed his hopes of being able to wear the jersey in what is likely his final season in Baton Rouge. Boutte will be a significant piece of this offense in 2022 no matter who is behind center. He’s just recently been given the go ahead in returning to the field, getting some good work in with all the quarterbacks over the last several weeks.
