Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a left wrist injury in the first half of Sunday’s 34-12 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, head coach Mike Tomlin told reporters after the game.
Tomlin added that Rodgers will be further evaluated on Monday morning.
Veteran backup Mason Rudolph took over under center for the Steelers in their first possession of the second half, while Rodgers was considered questionable to return to Sunday’s game. He did not.
It is unclear when specifically Rodgers suffered the injury. Rodgers went 9-of-15 passing for 116 yards with one touchdown in the first half, helping lead Pittsburgh to a 10-6 lead after two quarters.
