The Golden State Warriors and Jonathan Kuminga haven’t seen eye-to-eye for years now. He’s been distant from his teammates, and they’ve even taken not-so-subtle shots at him. Coach Steve Kerr has always kept him on a short leash as well, and now that Jimmy Butler is healthy, he’s not even a part of the rotation. That’s why, when forced to answer even more questions about Kuminga’s availability, the Warriors coach essentially admitted that he’s likely to be on his way out. “I can imagine it’s not easy,” Kerr said, per Anthony Slater. “My desire is for JK to be the best player he can be, regardless of where he ends up, here or elsewhere.” Kerr has faced some criticism for the way he’s dealt with Kuminga’s development.
