Super Bowl predictions, midseason update: Seven NFL favorites to win it all in February

Copied!

With the 2025 NFL season at its midpoint, our analysts revisit their pre-season predictions for which teams will compete for — and capture — the Lombardi Trophy at Super Bowl LX on Feb. 8, 2026, in Santa Clara, California.

NOTE: All odds are courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook and are current as of 11:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, Nov. 6.

Which NFL team will win Super Bowl LX?

Jeffri Chadiha: Bills over Lions. Buffalo finally ends decades of heartbreak and frustration with Josh Allen making enough plays to ruin Detroit’s first Super Bowl appearance.

Tom Blair: Bills over Bucs. I’m staying with my preseason runner-up — which, wildly, felt like a bold swing back in August — but ditching my original winner (Baltimore) so that Josh Allen can FINALLY deliver the Lombardi to Buffalo.

Mike Band: Bills over Eagles. Josh Allen outduels Jalen Hurts both through the air and with his legs to lead Buffalo to its first Lombardi Trophy.

Eric Edholm: Bills over Rams. Josh Allen wins Buffalo’s first-ever Super Bowl, surviving a fierce Rams pass rush and the ageless Matthew Stafford in what will end up being his final NFL game.

Michael Florio: Bills over Eagles. Sticking with my preseason pick, albeit against a different opponent. The Eagles win the Week 17 matchup, but the Bills get theirs in the biggest game of the season.

Matt Okada: Bills over Rams. It was my preseason prediction and I’m sticking with it: Josh Allen finally leads Buffalo to its first Lombardi after an epic duel with Matthew Stafford.
