College football recruiting is getting crazier by the day. On Saturday, one hour after his expected commitment time, five-star wide receiver Calvin Russell, a 6-foot-5, 200-pound receiver out of Miami, surprised plenty of people when he chose the Syracuse Orange over the Michigan Wolverines. Heading into the announcement, there weren’t any crystal ball projections. None of the national experts had gone on record with predictions.
