Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin has requested a trade, NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported. He has been in talks for a new contract with the franchise as training camp began.
McLaurin has been searching for a long-term deal with the Commanders as he enters the final year of his contract. Talks have taken place, though no deal has come together through the first weeks of camp.
McLaurin initially held out of training camp, but reported earlier this week . However, he was placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list due to an ankle injury, Commanders coach Dan Quinn told reporters.
