AFC Offensive Player of the Week
Stroud snapped back into exemplary form on Sunday, leading his Texans past the Baltimore Ravens, 44-10. The third-year QB completed 23 of 27 passes — flexing a sensational 85.2 completion percentage — with season highs of 244 yards, four touchdowns and a 143.9 passer rating. Stroud, who added 30 rushing yards, earned his first Offensive Player of the Week accolade since his first season, when he was voted AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.
NFC Offensive Player of the Week
Dowdle took the lead reins in the Panthers’ backfield with Chuba Hubbard injured and led a Panthers rally in their 27-24 win Sunday over the Miami Dolphins. Dowdle ran wild for 206 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries. Dowdle’s rushing tally was a single-game career high and league high this season. His 1-yard touchdown run was the go-ahead score as the Panthers rallied back from a 17-0 deficit.
