In a game filled with offensive studs on both sides of the ball, it was Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery who emerged from “Monday Night Football” as the hero of a 38-30 win over the Baltimore Ravens. Known much more as a bruising back good for churning out solid gains and converting goal-line situations, Montgomery showed his second-level speed as well with a 72-yard rush in the third quarter and a game-sealing 31-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.  The Detroit Lions offense as a whole made a loud statement, completing two drives of longer than 90 yards and eating up 10:48 of the second quarter clock before scoring one of their four rushing touchdowns of the evening.  “I just thought it was an outstanding team effort,” said Lions head coach Dan Campbell after the win to improve to 2-1. “I was proud of the players.
