Happy 28th birthday to San Antonio Spurs point guard, De’Aaron Fox! Fox is a nine-year NBA veteran who was drafted fifth-overall in 2017 by the Sacramento Kings out of Kentucky, where he spent the first seven-plus seasons of his career. After making an All-Star and All-NBA team in 2022-23 en route to the Jerry West Clutch Player of the Year award, and winning the NBA steals championship in 2023-24, Fox was traded to the Spurs to team up with Victor Wembanyama last season. This year, Fox is averaging 22.9 points, 6.0 assists and 1.0 steals-per-game and helped lead San Antonio to an appearance in the NBA Cup final, where they lost to the New York Knicks.
