For the first time since 2018, Christian Yelich and the Milwaukee Brewers will play for the National League pennant and a spot in the World Series. That season, Yelich and Milwaukee pushed the Los Angeles Dodgers to seven games before eventually falling.  The 33 year old veteran didn’t have a home run or RBI in the NLDS against the Chicago Cubs, but he did hit .263 while drawing three walks and scoring three runs across the best-of-five set.  While Milwaukee has higher aspirations than just making the NLCS, Yelich acknowledged the importance of beating their division-rival in the postseason.  “The rivalry between these two teams, I feel like it’s been our two teams going at it the last eight years,”  he said .   “We just really wanted to perform for our city and this organization and our fanbase.
