After the Oklahoma City Thunder open their NBA title defense against the Houston Rockets, the NBA’s Opening Night finale features Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors against Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers. The Warriors and Lakers were both eliminated from the playoffs by the Minnesota Timberwolves in last year’s postseason. The Lakers lost to the T-Wolves in five games in the first round of the playoffs, while Golden State beat the Rockets in seven games before also losing in five in the Western Conference semifinals to Minnesota.
