New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye is achieving plenty of “firsts,” this season. In Week 16 he threw for more than 300 yards for the first time in his career, and in Week 17 he tossed five touchdowns in one game for the first time. The five touchdowns led to a dominant 42-10 win over the New York Jets to give Maye his first division title while also making NFL history in the process. The second-year quarterback finished with a line of 19-for-21 with 256 yards to go with those five touchdowns, making him the first quarterback in 40 years to throw five TDs and complete 90 percent of his pass attempts.
