The Seattle Mariners got a sparkling pitching performance from Bryce Miller and their bullpen in Game 1 of the ALCS against the Toronto Blue Jays, surrendering just a first-inning home run to George Springer in the 3-1 win. Next up is 28 year old righty Logan Gilbert, who has the chance to get the Mariners back to Seattle with a two-game advantage. Gilbert last appeared for Seattle in their 15-inning Game 5 win over the Detroit Tigers in the ALDS, pitching two shut-out frames in the 10th and 11th. He does have some experience with the 2025 edition of the Blue Jays as well, throwing 4 ⅔ innings against Toronto on April 19.
