For the first time since being traded from Charlotte to the Bay Area in 2022, running back Christian McCaffrey and the San Francisco 49ers will face the Carolina Panthers on “Monday Night Football.” Heading into Week 12 McCaffrey leads the NFL with 193 rushes, turning them into 707 yards and six touchdowns. But he’s also caught five touchdown passes and recorded more receiving yards this season (732) this season than rushing. The Panthers have also been susceptible to running backs this year, surrendering 13 rushing touchdowns on the season and allowing at least 200 rushing-yards twice this season.
