The eyes of the NBA world were on the clash between Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers and Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs. This round went 118-116 to Luka and the Lakers, with Doncic scoring 35 points and dishing out 13 assists while Wemby was “held,” to 19 points – his second-fewest of the young season. The win came with LeBron James still sidelined with sciatica and Austin Reaves dealing with groin soreness. After the win, Doncic dreamed about the team’s ceiling when completely healthy. “I’m enjoying it very much, playing with these guys,” he said. “AR (Austin Reaves) can’t play and we’re still missing Bron, so this team has big potential.” Which brings us to today’s quiz.
