Coming off of his first Most Valuable Player award in 2024-25, Josh Allen is set for another first heading into the 2025-26 season. Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that Allen won’t play in the Bills preseason finale, marking the first year in his career Allen hasn’t gotten any snaps during exhibition season. “You’ve got the reigning MVP, and I think he’s shown to this point that he’s in a good spot,” McDermott said. Allen led the Bills to a 13-4 record last season, throwing for 3,371 yards and 28 touchdowns, while cutting his interceptions down from 18 to six.
