Wide receiver Chase Claypool was drafted with fairly high expectations in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft from Notre Dame. But after a breakout campaign in his rookie year that saw him catch 62 passes for 873 yards and nine touchdowns, Claypool has struggled both with consistency and injuries. After missing all of 2024 with an injured tendon and ligament in his toe, he said he’s ready for another shot at the NFL. “I’m the strongest and fastest I’ve ever been and couldn’t be more excited to step back on the field and let my actions speak for themselves,” he posted on social media.
