The Pelicans Will Pick 13th In the NBA Draft

New Orleans,LA – The New Orleans Pelicans were looking for a little extra luck in the NBA Draft Lottery Thursday afternoon. New Orleans were fortunate last year landing phenom star forward Zion Williamson from Duke with the 1st overall selection. The Pelicans GM Trajan Langdon was in attendance virtually for the lottery selection. The team ended up with the 13th selection this year, which players like: Phoenix’s Devin Booker, Utah’s Donovan Mitchell and Miami’s Tyler Herro were all taken.

The team has to find a new coach after firing Coach Alvin Gentry and fill holes in its roster moving ahead. The NBA Draft is scheduled for Oct. 16 2020.
